A 3034 km trail through some of the most beautiful French mountain scenery, linking 14 natural parks and crossing France **** from the Vosges to the Pyrenees.
The HexaTrek has been designed to link the most beautiful French trails and maximise the places where bivouac is allowed.

Following the mountain ridges, crossing the most beautiful valleys and stopping in the most picturesque villages, the HexaTrek is a journey to meet yourself, nature and its inhabitants.

- 2000 POINTS OF INTEREST YOUR POCKET GUIDE :

WORKS ENTIRELY OFFLINE.
Each step of the trail is downloadable offline and will give you your location even in aeroplane mode. The application uses the internal GPS of your mobile device to display your position and guide you along the trail.
Follow the precise route and find all the useful points of interest for your hike.

IDENTIFY THE BIVOUAC AREAS.

Know where you will spend the night. The application will tell you if the place where you are is authorized to bivouac or if there are particular restrictions (private land, protected area, natura 2000...)

DISCOVER THE PLACES YOU CANT MISS.
Dont miss any point of interest on the way, you will find in the app all the unmissable places classified in 4 categories.

- Must-sees: the most beautiful landscapes, waterfalls and other natural wonders.
- Viewpoints: All the passes and viewpoints offering you the best view of the surroundings.
- Monuments : Places classified as UNESCO heritage sites or part of the countrys history.
- French villages: A selection of the most emblematic villages crossed by the route.

-The unguarded refuges/shelters are free, open to all and available all year round.

- The guarded refuges, Gites and Campsites, are not free of charge and are generally open during the summer season. They offer a comfortable nights stay with catering service.

ENSURE YOUR ITINERARY
Find easily the list of all the water points (springs, fountains, drinking water) and the places of provisioning (supermarket, grocery shop, local producers.)
Know the tricky passages, the alternative routes and the indications to follow.
